Slash Commands

Overview

Slash commands are a command menu built into the chat composer. Type / and Awa's power tools surface in a filterable list — the workflows you'd otherwise have to describe from scratch every time, now one keystroke away. Each command is a piece of method made reusable: the control-vs-variant test you'd run by hand, the favorites you'd distill into a formula, the lessons you'd otherwise lose when a long session ends. Pick one and Awa runs it the same proven way every time.

The commands

• /recipes — open the recipe browser and drop your product into a proven shot formula. (See *Recipes*.)
• /variants — run a control + variants experiment. Awa generates a control plus variants that each change exactly one variable, so you can compare and crown a champion.
• /distill-favorites — turn the frames you've starred in this campaign into a reusable shot formula plus house-style do/don't rules.
• /distill-thread — read the entire conversation and distill its durable lessons — including what failed and why — into shot formulas and campaign rules.

How it works

• Summon the menu. In the composer, type /. The command menu opens; keep typing to filter (e.g. /var), use the arrow keys to move, and Enter to run the highlighted command. On mobile it opens as a bottom sheet.
• Use what you've typed. /variants uses any prompt you've already typed as the control. Type nothing and Awa varies the current frame or champion instead.
• Review before it saves. The distill commands always *propose* first — Awa shows you the shot formulas and rules she'd save, and nothing is written to the campaign until you confirm.
• It compounds. Saved formulas and rules flow back into every future turn in that campaign, so the next session starts from what this one learned.

When to reach for each

• You're iterating toward a look. /variants turns guesswork into a disciplined one-variable-at-a-time experiment.
• You nailed a set of shots. /distill-favorites captures what the winners share so you can reproduce it.
• You just fought through a hard session. /distill-thread saves the craft — the winning recipe *and* the dead ends — so you never relearn it.
• You want a known formula. /recipes pours your product into a saved composition.
